Gong Fuying, born in 1983 in Zhouning County of southeast China's Fujian Province, has shown his interests in art making since his childhood. After learning oil paintings in Putian of southeast China's Fujian Province, he returned to hometown to start his own business in 2013. Gong has tried to make paintings with tea materials such as tea powder, tea waste and tea leaves to present the beautiful views of his hometown since March of 2018.
